Unable to Load
We were unable to load the ActiveX utility required for determining the system configuration. The most common causes and solutions are:
  1. Incorrect browser version: This utility works with Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher. We recommend using Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher. Currently, this utility is not supported by Netscape browsers.
  2. Declined security certificate: You answered NO when you were presented with the ActiveX security certificate. You must accept the certificate to install the utility and display your current configuration.
  3. Firewall: Your network may be using a firewall or ad-blocking utility to disable ActiveX content. If it is a software-based product such as ZoneAlarm, you may be able to temporarily disable it.
  4. Incorrect Internet Explorer security settings: The default IE security settings will ask you whether you want to accept ActiveX controls rather than automatically blocking them. To reset Internet Explorer security settings, follow the instructions below:

Once you have corrected any issues, you can try loading the utility again.

Instructions for allowing Active X

In your browser go to Tools -> Internet Options (See fig.1).
Click on the Security Tab (See fig.2)
Choose the Internet Icon (See fig.2, the Globe)
Click on the Custom Level button to view Security Settings (See fig.3)
(Please note your settings to change them back when you are done.)
Scroll down to the Active X section.
For any Active X settings that are set to disable, change the setting to Prompt.
When you are finished, all ActiveX options should be set to Enabled or Prompt.
