Note: Eight import filters do not get installed from this CD and Microsoft is aware of it. This batch file automates their solution to complete the installation of the last eight .FLT files. The batch file can be run from any drive or sub-directory. It asks the user to insert the Office CD and specify the letter of their CD-ROM drive. From this point the batch file will extract import filters to the proper directory on the hard drive or give the user an error message and suggest methods of recovery. It will even detect if the version of Office is the one that needs this file or not (This is for the CD based version). |
