Connecting Your Home Theater Gear
Once you've found a suitable home (and the right position) for all of your home theater gear, the fun begins. Deciphering the spaghetti-like mass of cables and the plethora of different connection options can be a bit daunting, but connecting your home theater's components needn't be hard. The key is to understand two concepts: first, the role of the receiver as the hub and switching center of your system, and second, the idea of a "heirarchy" in connections (and using the best connection available to you).
