Based on statistics, players would attempt to assemble the perfect team and call the perfect plays. Soon, simple ASCII graphics were added to football simulators and the race was on. It was golf, however, that would reward actual skill and captivate PC sports fans everywhere. Replicating physics and picturesque surroundings created a competition for realism that continues to this day. |
