About Capturing Digital Video
What is capturing digital video? Although there are several ways to do this, it always means bringing video footage into a computer as a digital file. Once the video exists as a digital file, it has been "captured", and can then be edited, modified or manipulated by specialized software. After the video has been processed as desired, it can be output back to tape or converted to streaming video files for the World Wide Web.
