Managing ScreenCam Captions
ScreenCam movies, when combined with audio commentary, are a wonderful tool for explaining concepts and demonstrating tasks. If your users don't have audio-enabled computers, you can add captions. Captions, which are bits of text that appear at locations you specify in a movie, can offer timely information that give viewers much more information about the process being demonstrated. You do need to create a captions file before recording the movie in which the captions are shown.
