Troubleshooting CAT5 Cables
The most common cable for new networks is CAT5 UTP cable. This cable, as you may know, look like thicker telephone cables and use a RJ-45 connection rather than the RJ-11 connection that phones use. While these cables are reliable there are still some troubleshooting issues that creep up. This series will examine the most common problems with CAT5 cables and how you can resolved them.
