Using ScanDisk
Since 1995, Windows has included ScanDisk, an easy to use tool for finding and fixing disk errors and file errors. ScanDisk comes in two varieties: the DOS version, which is run after an abnormal system shutdown, and the Windows version. This series shows you how to use ScanDisk to check for disk corruption and how to fix the errors it finds.
