Getting into Newsgroups
Participating in newsgroups was one of the first uses of the Internet. In essence, a newsgroup is a place where people can post email messages (called articles) on a particular topic. Others can read and respond to those articles. Newsgroups are a great way to ask questions about how to fix your computer, find an exotic vacation spot, or talk about politics. Today, there are more than 30,000 newsgroups to choose from.
