Troubleshooting Your PC BIOS
When people talk about the CPU being the "brain" of your PC, they often say, too, that the motherboard serves as the central nervous system. The BIOS is the programmable interface for the motherboard, allowing you to set options based on the type of hardware and connections you've got installed on your machine. Common problems include outdated BIOS (motherboard's programmable interface), wrong options selected in CMOS (BIOS), and devices not seen by the BIOS.
