Working with Device Manager
Many of the hardware devices and boards and such hooked to your PC automatically get an entry in Windows Device Manager. Thus, it's important for you to know your way around Device Manager – what you can check, fix, and change. Outdated drivers, conflicts with other devices, and problems with drive operation can often be found here. The one exception is SCSI, where the adapter gets an entry but there's no detailed info about devices installed to it. This series talks about things you want to know in troubleshooting hardware through Device Manager.
