Troubleshooting Shutdown/Startup: 2
Startup and Shutdown for Windows 95/98 is meant to be pretty automatic. Start your computer, and it loads without user intervention; choose shutdown, and it either prepares itself to let the PC be turned off (Windows 95) or completely shuts down and turns off the PC (Windows 98 and later). Poorly behaved hardware drivers, less than wonderful software, and actual hardware problems can interrupt this ease. Learn to address these problems in this series.
