Troubleshoot PC Motherboards: 1
When people talk about the CPU being the "brain" of your PC, they often say, too, that the motherboard serves as the central nervous system. Almost everything on your PC is attached to the motherboard either directly or indirectly. Common motherboard problems include outdated BIOS (motherboard's programmable interface), shorts caused by issues like improper seating, fractures, and loose connections. Often, though, the very first problem you may run into is identifying your motherboard.
