Working With Replication
Lotus Notes allows you to keep multiple copies of databases on your workstation or laptop. These copies are called replicas. When you make any changes, you are making the change locally - on the replica of the database which exists on the server. At some point, you will want changes sent to the database on the server and have the server changes sent to your replica. This process is called replication. When you replicate, your computer and the server exchange any modified or new documents in the database.
