Sorting and Filtering Project Data
Microsoft Project gives you, at the very least, five views through which to enter, edit, and analyze your project information. Through these views, you can increase the editing and analysis power by utilizing Project's Sort and Filter commands. Sorting allows you to change the displayed order of your records, be they tasks or resources, and filtering allows you to distill the list down to just those tasks or resources that are of interest at the time.
