Setting Up a New Project
Creating a new project involves more than choosing File, New from the menu. Microsoft Project requires some basic information when you create a new project file – from the starting and ending dates to the type of calendar (a standard 9-5 schedule, night shifts, or a 24-hour work cycle). Obviously, you want to have made these decisions before setting up your project as a Project file, and this series is devoted to these and other basic decisions you need to make in building a new project.
