Start with a theme, such as "school supplies" or "wild animals," then list as many words that fit the theme as you can think of. For example, a list of words you might associate with school supplies include paper, pens, glue, and backpack. Be sure to list small words as well as bigger words. When you've got your list of words complete, you're ready to create the puzzle.
