Rev Up Text Formatting
Text you add into a blank Word document uses the Times New Roman font (letter set) in the 12-point size by default. Placeholder text included in a document task may not have the look or size you want, either. Word provides you the tools to rev up any document. You can control text font, size, paragraph alignment and spacing, bullets and numbering, borders and shading, indents, and tabs. You can even save your favorite settings as a style that you can apply to other selections.
