Perform General Journal Tasks
In this series you will learn how to enter, recur, edit, delete, memorize, and reverse General Journal Entries. You will also learn how to reconcile your accounts, change accounting periods, post to the General Ledger, and set General Ledger defaults. Use the General Journal when you want to record transactions such as bank service charges, transfers between accounts, or if you want to correct a mistake. You must balance the General Journal yourself.
