Tutorial Home > Software > Internet > pcAnywhere 9.0 > Starting a Session Starting a Session You can make three basic types of remote connections with pcAnywhere: Remote/host by modem, Remote/host by network protocol and a direct Remote/host connection which can be a combination of the two. These connection types appear as icons under Remote Control, Be A Host PC, and File Transfer. File Transfer is simply remote control that automatically launches the file manager on connection to the host. The following series of tutorials will serve as your guide through this process.
