Working with Databases
Everything in Lotus Notes - your Mail, your documents and even Help - is stored in a database. Since Lotus Notes is a groupware tool, you and your co-workers can share and edit documents; participate in discussions and, yes, even send e-mail. Information stored in a database is referred to as a document. There are three types of documents: Main, Response, and Response to Response. When you open a database, the documents are displayed within a view.
