| When installing Adobe® Illustrator® 10, be sure you have your manual, registration card, and installation CD in one place and are ready to go. Then, follow the on-screen prompts. If you are upgrading to Adobe Illustrator 10 from a previous version of Illustrator, you will need the serial number of the previous version as well. |

| To install Illustrator 10, insert the Illustrator CD-ROM into your computer's CD-ROM drive and follow the on-screen instructions. The Setup Wizard will read information on your personal computer and begin the installation process. If the Setup Wizard does not automatically start when inserting the disc, open the CD-ROM and click on the Setup.exe icon. The Installation Wizard will now walk you through the installation steps. |

| If you would like to try Adobe Illustrator 10, Adobe has a trial version available at: http://www.adobe.com/products/illustrator/main.html. In order to download and install the trial version, it is recommended that you have a DSL or faster connection. |

| The automatic Setup Wizard walks you through each step of the installation process, from start to finish. Read each screen and confirm that the information presented is correct, then click Next to proceed. When you are done with the installation process, you will need to restart your computer. |
