  Step 1:  Click a Program Window

Open a Report
You can only work in one application or program at a timeùcalled the current or active application. To make an application current or active, you can click in its application window if the window is visible on the desktop.
  Step 2:  Click a Taskbar Button

If you can't see the window for the application you want to select, click its button on the taskbar to switch to the application.
  Step 3:  Start the Task Manager

Windows Me also includes the Task Manager, a throwback to early Windows releases. You can use Task Manager to switch between applications, should you prefer that method. To start Task Manager, choose Start, Run. Type "taskman" in the Open text box of the Run dialog box, and then click OK. Task Manager (the Tasks window) opens onscreen. You can move and resize the window as needed.
  Step 4:  Use the Tasks Window

Open a Report
To switch to another application, click its button in the Tasks window. You can click the Tasks window Close (X) button to close the Tasks window at any time.
