Step 1:  Go to BulletProof Home Page

Open a Report
Point your browser to www.bpftp.com and review the preliminary information on this software. BulletProof FTP is trialware. It allows free download and a trial period of 30 days, after which you must purchase a license or remove the software from your system.
  Step 2:  Choose Overview

Open a Report
Click the Overview button for a summary of features. Many of BulletProof's features, like transfer scheduling and automatic reconnect, are especially helpful for people with slow Internet connections, like dialup connections. But they can also help users with broadband Internet connections because the FTP server can also be slow.
  Step 3:  Read Release Notes

Open a Report
Click the "check out what's new" link, and you'll see a text file containing the release notes for BulletProof software. Release notes are often informal, but they give an idea of how well the software works and whether it is still in active development.
Step 4:  View Questions and Answers

Open a Report
Click the "Back" button of your browser then choose the "FAQ" link, then the "FAQ" link again, to display the main screen of the Frequently Asked Questions area. Many software products have FAQ lists, and software writers ask that you look for your questions there before sending email. Click on any subjects and questions that interest you before continuing.
  Step 5:  Check the Price

Open a Report
Scroll to the bottom of the page you're on, and click the "register" link. Click "Back" if necessary to return to a page that has a "register" link. The "Register" page has pricing information; you'll return here later if you like the software to find out how to buy a license before your 30-day trial period expires. If you would like to try BulletProof, go on to the next tutorial, "Download and Install."
