  Step 1:  Select the Text Tool

Open a Report
Click on the Text Tool on the left side of your screen.
  Step 2:  Type Text

Open a Report
Click where you wish the text to appear and then type.
  Step 3:  Format the Text

Open a Report
You may use the various drop-down boxes and other settings near the top of the screen to format your text. These items are not unlike those found in word processing applications.
  Step 4:  Edit Text

Open a Report
You may double-click a text box to be presented with this window. Here, you may edit the text and its formatting. When finished, click on the green checkmark to return to your project (clicking on the red "x" cancels the changes).
  Step 5:  Curve the Text

Open a Report
To make the text flow in a curve, go to the "Tools" menu and select the "Curve Text Wizard" which will guide you through the process.
  Step 6:  View Curved Text

Open a Report
This is an example of curved text.
