| Place your cursor at the start of the text you want to listen to. In our example, place your insertion point before the word Using. You can also say commands such as Move left four words or Move right words to position the cursor. |

| Say, "Dictation" to display the Dictation menu. The Show Correction Window is selected in the menu list by default but it is not activated. |

| Say, "Begin Reading". Woodrow, the ViaVoice agent will appear and begin reading in a computer generated voice. The selected text will also appear in a balloon above Woodrow's head. Woodrow will read text that you typed as well as dictated text. |
