| Double-click the Norton Internet Security icon located on the desktop or double-click the Norton Internet Security icon located in the system tray. You can also click the Start button, then Programs, then Norton Internet Security, then Norton Internet Security. |

| On the left side of the screen are the menu items. Your two choices are Internet Security and Norton AntiVirus (if installed). Click the Internet Security menu and then the Parental Control submenu. |

| In the upper right hand corner underneath the word "Parental Control" is a note that will let you know what account name your currently making changes to. If you click on the name, you'll get a list of all account names. Click on the name that you want to make changes to. |

| By putting a checkmark into the "Enable Parental Control" box, you'll be enabling these options. |

| If you have made changes and you want to revert back to the original settings, click the Defaults button. This will make all the settings return to the settings that they were at when the software was installed. |

| Click the Applications button and you'll be taken to a screen where you can tell what applications this account has access to. Put a checkmark next to each of the items that you want the person to have access to and remove the check from the items that you don't want the person to access. |

| Click the Sites button to go to a screen to add specific sites that you want the person to have access to or to not have access to. At the top of the screen you can either choose to specify either blocked or permitted sites. Put a checkmark into the categories that you want to allow or block and if you want, you can put in specific site addresses. |
