| If you have a Universal Serial Bus (USB) Zip Drive you may experience lockups related to that drive. |

| The USB drivers that are included in Windows 98 sometimes cause lockups. Obtain the latest drivers from Microsoft. |

| If the USB used to work and now does not, the driver may have become corrupted. Go to Start, choose Settings, and click on Control Panel. Choose the System Icon, and click the Device Manager. Locate the Universal Serial Bus; it is usually under Ports or Other Devices. |

| Click on the USB once to highlight it. Click remove. |

| Restart the computer by clicking OK when presented with the option. When the computer comes back on, the system will install the USB drivers. |
