| When in Taskbar view, you can access all ViaVoice functions. The Taskbar resides either at the top or bottom of your computer screen. |

| Click on the ViaVoice button to view the ViaVoice Menu. |

| The Microphone button provides information about and gives you access to the microphone while ViaVoice is running. The microphone in the figure is in the off position. |

| The Volume Meter is located immediately to the right of the Microphone button. The Volume Meter provides information about your audio levels when speaking into the microphone. |

|
|
| The Status Area displays commands that are spoken into the microphone as well as ViaVoice program status messages. |

|
|
| Click on the Help button to access the online help system. |
|
|
|
|
| The User Information status area lets you know who the current user is. Make sure the name you used when you created your voice model appears here before using ViaVoice. |
