  Step 1:  Start a Save

Open a Report
When you create a new picture—by opening a blank picture, using a template, opening from a camera, or scanning—PhotoDraw assigns a temporary file name such as Picture1, Picture2, and so on. You need to save each picture file to name it and store it on your computer's hard disk. To start saving the current image, choose File, Save; press Ctrl+S; or click the Save button on the toolbar. The Save As dialog box appears.
  Step 2:  Choose a Location

Open a Report
By default, the Save As dialog box suggests that you save the picture in the default \My Documents\My Pictures folder. To navigate to another folder, open the Save In drop-down list. Click the icon for the disk where you'd like to save the file. The folders on the disk appear in a list in the Save As dialog box. Double-click folder icons as needed to navigate to the proper folder. Click the Up One Level button to back up to a higher folder.
  Step 3:  Enter a Name

Open a Report
Drag over the contents of the File Name text box to select them. Then, type the name you want to use for the picture file.
  Step 4:  Finish the Save

Open a Report
Click the Save button in the Save As dialog box to finish the Save.
  Step 5:  Save Later Changes

Open a Report
If you make subsequent changes to the image, you need to resave the image to preserve your changes in the file. To do so, choose File, Save; press Ctrl+S; or click the Save button on the toolbar.
  Step 6:  Close an Image

Open a Report
When you've finished working with a particular picture file and have saved it, you can close the file to remove it from your system's memory. To do so, choose File, Close. Or, right-click the picture's thumbnail in the Picture List, then click Close in the shortcut menu that appears.
