  Step 1:  Start McAfee Utilities

Open a Report
From Office, click McAfee Utilities. If you know the exact program that you want, you can click the Start button, then Programs, then McAfee Utilities, and the program that you want to use.
  Step 2:  Choose Repair & Recover

Open a Report
This icon is located at the top of the line of icons located on the left side of the screen.
  Step 3:  Choose First Aid

Open a Report
On the right side of the screen is a list of the programs that are available. Click the First Aid icon to access this program.
  Step 4:  Check Your Computer

Open a Report
Click the Check-Up button. The software will go through and check all of the devices that are attached to your computer. During the process you'll be able to see what devices are being looked at while the software is checking them.
  Step 5:  View the Findings

Open a Report
After the software has finished evaluating the computer, you'll be shown the findings that were found. They are divided into degrees of a problem. Click the View button to see a list of what was found and to see what your choices are for fixing them.
  Step 6:  Select a Problem

Open a Report
Highlight the problem that you want to fix and click the Fix Info… button. From here you'll be shown what the problem is and how to fix the problem.
  Step 7:  Fix the Problem

Open a Report
If more than one choice is given for a problem, choose the fix that you want and click the manual fix button. This will correct the problem as you chose to correct it. To have the program fix the problem, click the AutoFix button.
