| At this point you should have a pretty good piece of music and now you want to experiment with something else. Before you begin tweaking the project, you should remember to save your work. |

| Click on the "File / Save As" to bring up the file saving window. The default directory is the Sonic Foundry Acid directory. |

| You do not have to put the saved file in the Acid directory. It can be put anywhere on your hard drive, and it will always be easy to find because it has the ".acd" extension. |

| You are now ready to save the file after you give it a name. In this case, I named it "tutorial 1". You can now go about changing tracks, loops, and keys, resting assured that you will always have the original available if needed. |
