This simple window provides you with just the text content of the tag you are editing. You can type changes to the tag directly into the block, rather than make the adjustments to the tag properties palette.

On the Quick Tag Editor, you have the option of selecting additional attributes to add from a drop down list. You can get this list to appear by typing a space after one of the closing quotation marks after one of the attributes. You can then select one of the available attributes by selecting it from the list.

Making your changes become active is easy. Just click your mouse pointer off of the Quick Tag Editor and onto any other area of the document. If you have made a visible change to your document, such as changing font color or the size of an image, then the change will be immediately visible. If you have made other changes, such as adding an event to a link, you won't see the results of your change until you have tested them in a browser.
