  Step 1:  Working With Attachments

Open a Report
Sometimes it's more convenient to send documents without adding them into the body of your e-mail. To attach a file to an outgoing message, first write up the message as usual.
  Step 2:  Select the Attach Function

Open a Report
Click on "File" in the top left corner of the window. Select "Attach" from the pop-up menu.
  Step 3:  The Create Attachments Window

Open a Report
Lotus Notes opens the Create Attachment window, which you will use to locate the needed file.
  Step 4:  Locating the File

Open a Report
For this example, presume you need to locate a document entitled "eula" from Lotus notes. Your cursor should be inside the box entitled "File Name." Type the name of the file you need into the box. Now click on "Create."
  Step 5:  Completing the Process

Open a Report
Your document now contains a small graphic. That is the attachment. All you need to do now is click "Send."
