| Left-click on the Start Menu. Scroll up to Programs and then scroll across to Internet Explorer. Click on it to open it. |

| On the top menu, left-click on Tools. Scroll down to Internet Options. Left-click it to open the Internet Options Panel. |

| The top of the Internet Options panel has 6 tabs. Select Connections by left-clicking on that tab. |

| Left click on the Edit local area network (LAN) settings button labeled LAN Settings. This opens the Local Area Network (LAN) Settings Panel. |

| Click on the checkbox for Use a proxy server. Then left click on the Advanced button to open the Proxy Settings panel. |

| Enter the proxy address in the boxes for all the server types. The proxy address is often just 'proxy' for the IP address, or check your documentation for the proxy server's address. |
