| In either MS Outlook or Netscape Mail, find your message and zipped attachment. Highlight the file. |

| Click and hold down the right mouse button. A menu will appear. Choose Save As. |

| The Save Attachments window will open. Select a destination for your file. When finished, click Save. |

| Find the zip file you just saved. Double-click on the icon or file name. This will automatically start WinZip and open the WinZip File Menu window. |

| Next, you'll see the contents of the zip file, also known as an archive, in the WinZip File Menu window. The name of the zip archive appears in the Title Bar at the top of the window. Highlight the file(s) you want to remove, or extract, from the archive. You can extract multiple files by holding down the Ctrl key while selecting the files. |

| Click on the Extract icon on the Toolbar. In the Extract window, choose a destination for your file(s). You can type the location in the Extract To field, or browse the directory tree. To create a new folder, click the New Folder button, enter the new folder name, and click on OK. When finished, click on Extract. |

| Once you've extracted the files, they will appear in the final destination you indicated. You've now unzipped an email attachment! In the WinZip window, choose File:Close to close the archive. |
