By making certain adjustments in your browser, you can help prevent some of this private information from being revealed to the web sites you visit. You can clean out the history list, remove your name and e-mail address, clean the cache, and more. See the series titled "Tapping Into Internet Safety Procedures" for information on how to perform these procedures.
  Step 4:  Surf Anonymously

To be totally sure that no one knows where you've been, you can surf the Web anonymously. There are sites available on the Internet that'll allow you the ability to do this. Once at the site, enter in the address of where you want to go and you'll go there.
