  Step 1:  Quick Alignment

Open a Report
Use the Align button on the Property Bar to quickly align your shape in an area of the slide.
  Step 2:  Fine-Tune the Placement

Open a Report
While dragging is the quickest way to move an object into place, sometimes it doesn't place it exactly where you want it. When this happens, hold down the Spacebar and press a keyboard arrow key to nudge the object into place.
  Step 3:  Transform the Object

Open a Report
If the graphic object shows a tiny diamond-shaped handle (called a glyph) in the center when the object is selected, you can use the handle to transform basic properties of the object. For example, you can bend a curve in the opposite direction by dragging the glyph, or change the properties of an arrow. Move the mouse pointer over the glyph until the pointer takes a funny-looking triangle shape.
  Step 4:  Drag to Transform

Open a Report
Drag the glyph to transform the shape.
  Step 5:  Select Multiple Items

Open a Report
To select multiple object boxes on a slide, click the first graphic, then hold down the Ctrl key while selecting other graphics.
  Step 6:  Select All

Open a Report
To quickly select every graphic object on a slide, press Ctrl+A.
