| From the My Finances main screen, click the Create an Account button. The Create New Accounts window will appear, listing types of accounts that you can create. |

| Click on Vehicle as the type of account you would like to create, then click the Next button. |

| Enter a name for the vehicle – this is the name that will appear on your financial reports, so you may want to stay away from names like "Dream Baby" and "Muscle Machine." You can also enter optional descriptive information. The description will not appear on any reports, so you can be more creative here. Enter the make, model, and year. Click Next to proceed. |

| Enter the date you got your car, the original cost, and an estimate of today's value. Click Next to proceed. |

| If you want Quicken to keep track of your loan information, you can click Yes on this screen. If you've already set up the loan in Quicken, select the second option. If you don't have a loan for this car, or don't think it's any of Quicken's business that you do, click No. Click Next to proceed. |

| Examine the Summary screen that appears and make sure everything you entered is correct. Make any changes that might be necessary. Click Done when you are satisfied with the information. The car will be added to your account list. If you said Yes to the previous question about a loan (Step 5), a screen will appear asking you about your loan information.
