Step 1:  Press the Power Button

Open a Report
Since you cannot remove the batteries in your Visor, it is always on, as long as the lithium ion batteries are charged. Press the Power button to turn on your Visor. Pressing the power button puts the unit to sleep, or into a low power mode until you press one of the hardware buttons, or the power button.
  Step 2:  Wait for Sleep

Open a Report
Let the unit sit, untouched for two minutes. The unit will automatically go into sleep mode after two minutes. You can adjust this time in the Preferences settings. The default preferences are also set to automatically sleep the unit after two minutes of inactivity.
  Step 3:  Wake It Up

Open a Report
Press any hardware button to power up the Visor. You can download software for your Visor that disables hardware buttons from waking your Visor from sleep. For example, if you have a soft case, and don't want the batteries to drain when a hardware button is accidentally pressed, you can install this software to only allow the power button to wake you Visor.
  Step 4:  Turn it Off

Open a Report
Press the Power button to sleep your Visor.
