| If you spent a lot of time formatting text in one area of your document, you don't have to go through the same step to apply the same formatting to another area. Instead, use WordPerfect's QuickFormat tool to copy the formatting from one spot to another. First select the text containing the formatting you want to copy. |

| Click the QuickFormat button on the toolbar, or open the Format menu and choose QuickFormat. This opens the QuickFormat dialog box. |

| Select a copy option from the dialog box, such as Selected Characters, or Headings. |

| Click OK to exit the dialog box. |

| Now drag the mouse pointer over the text you want to copy the formatting to. When you release the mouse button, the text is formatted. You can drag over as much text as you need throughout the document to continue copying formatting. |

| When you're finished, click the QuickFormat button again to turn the feature off. |
