| Click the "Start" button and then choose "Programs," "ICQ," and then "Uninstall ICQ." |

| You'll see the "Select Uninstall Method" dialog box, which offers two ways of uninstalling the program. Here, we'll delete all the ICQ files. (If there are a few you'd like to keep, don't choose this option. Or, move those files with Windows Explorer if you know which ones you want to keep.) Click the "Automatic" button and then click "Next." (Note: You do not need to be connected to the Internet to uninstall.) |

| Now click the "Finish" button to begin ICQ's removal. If you see a "Remove Shared Component" box during the uninstall, it's best to click "No to All" to prevent a shared file from being deleted. Removing these files may affect how other programs run. |

| Watch the program uninstall before your eyes! Then click "Finish" again to complete the uninstall procedure. |
