| We're looking to let people know we're willing to chat with anybody about most anything, just to get some experience with the program. If you're not already there, click the "Find Random Chat Partner" button in the ICQ window again. The Random dialog box appears. This time, click the "Details" tab. |

| Most importantly, be sure to click the "I Want To Be Available for Random Chat & Messages" check box. This will confirm your status and let others know you're interested in chatting. |

| The Details tab lets you put your best foot forward to others. The basic information you'll see listed comes from the White Pages Directory that we've already touched upon. But you can change the information if you wish. Be sure to choose the appropriate age category or subject if you want to be found by others with your interests. |

| If you've entered new information, you'll have to save it by clicking the "Save" button on the "Details" tab. You'll also need to click the "Close" button to seal the deal. |

| Note: In order to be available for Random Chats, your online status must be "Available." To check for sure, click the "Status" button in the lower-right corner of the ICQ window and then click "Available/Connect." |
