| One of the most common problems associated with downloading usually doesn't happen during the download process but after. Often people either don't notice where they placed downloaded files on their computers or they forget. The best way to remedy this problem is to create one file for all downloads. |

| Just before downloading GetRight, you created a folder called "Downloads" in which the GetRight installation program was put. It is recommended that you consistently place downloaded files in this same file to avoid the common hassle of having to search for them later. |

| If you decide not to make a file, the best thing to do is select the desktop from among the choices listed when Windows asks you where you would like to store the files (just before the download begins.) By doing this, all you have to do to find your file is close (or minimize) all of your windows and look on the desktop. From there, you can either leave your newly downloaded file or move it to another location. |

| It is possible that you will sometimes be distracted during a download and mistakenly allow the computer to choose a place for your downloaded file. For your information, this location is not randomly chosen. It is usually determined by your browser according to the frequency you access a particular file. This is another good reason to create one "Downloads" file, and stick to it. |

| An option for finding a lost downloaded file is to use the search function of your computer. This can be found by bringing up the start menu, clicking on "Find," then on "Files or Folders." |

| In the Find menu, type a keyword or the name of the downloaded file into the "Named" field, while making sure that the proper drive (usually C:) is selected in "Look In" field. Click on "Find Now" and wait for the results. Once your computer finds your file, simply double click on it, and the system will take you there. |
