  Step 1:  Chat Room Functions

Open a Report
NetMeeting's chat function works very similar to the private chat rooms on Yahoo.com or AOL.
  Step 2:  Open Chat

Open a Report
Click on the Chat Icon to open the chat box. This box will also appear on the other participant's screens.
  Step 3:  Real-Time Chat

Open a Report
The other participants will be able to see what you have typed and you will be able to see what they have typed, right after it is sent.
  Step 4:  Send Your Message

Open a Report
Your message appears in the lower part of the chat window while you are typing it, but the other participants do not see it until you click the Send button. Then the message appears in the upper part of the window. Everyone in the meeting then can see what you are saying.
