| After you have installed NetMeeting, the first time you run the program it will ask you to set it up. |

| Begin by pressing Start, then go to Programs and click on Microsoft NetMeeting. This will open NetMeeting. |

| The next screen will ask you to enter personal information. Your first name, last name, and email address are required. The rest of the information is optional. When you are finished entering the information, click Next. |

| Next you will be asked if you would like to be listed on the NetMeeting Internet Directory and if you would like to log into the directory server when you start NetMeeting. This is your choice. Click Next. |

| The next screen asks what speed your connection to the Internet is. If you plan to log onto NetMeeting using a LAN connection, then be sure this is selected. Be sure your appropriate modem speed is selected if you are using a modem. Then click Next. |

| The next screen will ask you where you would like the shortcuts to NetMeeting placed. You can choose to place one on your desktop or one on the Quick Launch bar, or both, or none. Add or remove the checks by clicking on them, depending on your preferences. Click Next. |

| The next screen will help you set up the audio. This will be addressed later under Audio Wizard. |

| When you have the audio setup, click Finish and NetMeeting will open on your desktop. |
