 | | Once you have opened Lotus Notes and have entered your password, the program is not secure should you decide to leave your workstation for a while. Unattended, any user can access the same Lotus Notes databases that you can, including your Mail. | | | |

 | | Click on File in the Menu bar, choose Tools, then click Lock ID (F5). Your User ID is now locked. If you, or anyone else, tries to access a database, document, e-mail, link, etc., Lotus Notes will request a password from the user. | | | |

 | | The symbol selection window appears. Press the UP/DOWN button to select a symbol for your waypoint. Press the ENTER button to confirm the selection. | | | |

 | | Click on File in the Menu bar, choose Preferences, then click on User Preferences. In the Basics Section, type in the number of minutes of inactivity before Lotus Notes automatically locks your User ID. Click OK (or press Enter) to return to the Welcome Page. | |
