  Step 1:  Search for Files

Open a Report
Click on File then click Open. You can open the File menu by clicking on the Open Folder Icon located second from left at the top of the PowerPoint screen.
  Step 2:  Open Folder

Open a Report
In the folder list, double-click the name of the folder in which you want to search.
  Step 3:  Text or Property Box

Open a Report
In the Text or property box, type in the properties you are looking for. If you are looking for a particular phrase, enclose the phrase in quotation marks, for example "sales meeting."
  Step 4:  Subfolders

Open a Report
To search all subfolders of a selected folder and to display the folders that contain the files found, click on Commands and Settings icon. Click Search Subfolders.
  Step 5:  Advanced Find

Open a Report
Non-text property searches can be accomplished by clicking on File menu. Then click Open then Advanced.
  Step 6:  Save Search

Open a Report
Click Save Search. In the Name for this search box, type a name that will be easy to remember. The saved search can be retrieved by clicking on File, Open, Advanced and Open Search.
