| Click on File then click Open. You can open the File menu by clicking on the Open Folder Icon located second from left at the top of the PowerPoint screen. |

| In the folder list, double-click the name of the folder in which you want to search. |

| In the Text or property box, type in the properties you are looking for. If you are looking for a particular phrase, enclose the phrase in quotation marks, for example "sales meeting." |

| To search all subfolders of a selected folder and to display the folders that contain the files found, click on Commands and Settings icon. Click Search Subfolders. |

| Non-text property searches can be accomplished by clicking on File menu. Then click Open then Advanced. |

| Click Save Search. In the Name for this search box, type a name that will be easy to remember. The saved search can be retrieved by clicking on File, Open, Advanced and Open Search. |
