  Step 1:  Open Control Panel

Open a Report
Go to Windows Start, and then point to Settings, and then to Control Panel.
  Step 2:  Open System Information

Open a Report
Double-click the System icon, and choose the tab labeled General.
  Step 3:  Verify System Version

Open a Report
Under the System information section on the General tab, check the version of your operating system. It should read Windows 98 or Windows 98 Second Edition. If it reads Windows 95, jump to Step 4.
  Step 4:  Upgrade Windows

If your system reports you are using Windows 95, the only way to use the Multi-Display Video feature is to upgrade to Windows 98. Obtain a copy of Windows 98 Upgrade version, and then attempt again to install Multi-Video support.
