  Step 1:  Editing the Document

Open a Report
Double-click on the document you want to edit from the database's View pane. Then click on the Edit Document button.
  Step 2:  Positioning the Cursor

Open a Report
Place your cursor in the document where you want the horizontal rule/line to appear. The line, by default, will extend from the left margin to the right margin.
  Step 3:  Applying the Command

Open a Report
Click Create in the Menu bar, then click on Horizontal Rule. The rule will appear within your document.
  Step 4:  Deselecting the Rule

Open a Report
When the rule appears within the document, it will be selected. If you press the Backspace or Del key, the rule will be removed. To deselect the rule, click in a different location in the document.
